Tuesday 13th July

Today has been extremely rewarding. Picked up two friends and drove to Uttoxeter where the Angie Quilt group in The Bank House Public House. The quilts being finished were excellent and so inspiring. Came home determined to do a new quilt but decided to finish what I had on the go. 3 for NEC in August, a Dear Jane blocks and Shakespeare in the Garden. As I work on each project I am working on my next or even thinking of where to travel on my next walk. Angie quilts

I'm Back

My ramblings over the last few months have taken me into unknown territory. Deep caves with deep wells and high sided hills. Large flying reptiles with canvas wings and sometimes small engines. Then the dark clouds came over and peace on earth came no more flying, quiet skies but coughing and dust every where.

Even my quilting is going everywhere. My latest project is a major secret no clues given. Go to the Major quilt show in Birmingham, England in August.

Next show I'm going to, hope to see you, at  Malvern 13th May onwards. Everyone appears to be  going so donot forget.
This quilt reminds me of my wanderings can you puzzle it out?

Must go walkies.

who I am

Hi all,

M name is Maureen. I have decided to run this blog to give ideas for all on quilting, patchwork and being green ideas.

I am not twenty that happened 40years ago so my memory is very long and dangerous.

I chose this site plan because besides being a rambling of memory I must also be dotty.
